Dear David,

Thanks again for calling last night. Your voice and [ ] reminded me that you’re thinking of me were exactly what I needed. Lately (for about the past year) you have been the cause of so much of my happiness. Without you, my life would be very empty and sad. Thank you for being in my life.

The place that you had your meetings and meals at in France looks like it was beautiful and very romantic. Just the kind of place I’ll want to visit when I go to France someday. I can’t wait to see you and your slides. Well, actually who cares about the slides??!! Only kidding.

If you felt that Derek and Lionel were detrimental to your experience and emotional well-being, it’s good you have decided to end your association with them. I admire you a lot for seeing something that you think you’re doing wrong and taking steps to change it. It takes a lot of strength and courage, and especially when there’s money involved. And as always, you’ve got my support all the way.

You are very special. Probably in relation to others, but specifically to me.

It’s good to hear that camp is going well, and I hope John is feeling better soon. I’m glad everyone else is well. Those kids will probably be the best archers (?) and scuba divers around when you’re finished teaching them. Can I be in your class next year… I promise I’ll behave! (sort of!)

Going away at Christmas is a great idea. What did you have in mind? Maybe Hawaii? I want to go anywhere as long as It’s with you. I see that after last year you decided to give up on snow and go for sun!! Smart move!

Well, I’m going to say goodbye for now. Take care of yourself and please remember that I’m love you.

Yours,
Joanna
