Dear David,
This letter is saying on paper what I said over the phone - how great it is that I’ll be seeing you in 12 days. Yes, I’ve been missing you. Like I said, not know when (sometimes if) I’ll see you again I must try not to miss you too much. You see, babe, I’m crazy about you. Did I say crazy? Yes, it seems to fit!
Thank you for coming to see me (before September). We don’t see each other every day, week, or month, but at this rate, we may manage to make it every season! Not bad! I can’t wait to see your cute (tan) bod, funny knees, and all.
Thanks again for the prints from Nova Scotia. I hung them in my bathroom (??). I had 2 plexiglass frames just waiting to be used. The print of the rowboats is my favorite. It brings to mind a delicious thought of rowing (or sailing) off with you into the middle of nowhere with absolutely no one else around - just you, me, sky, sun, & sea. Now!! Such inspiration!
Regarding the medallion, maybe you know someone who could make it smaller. Do you think that’s possible, or would it look funny? Why don’t you send it bring it with you & we could find out here! If we go to the Fair, there will most likely be a silversmith we could ask.
Monday 5//5
I’m back. I took a break and caught a few zzz’s.
I had weird dreams. There was one about a fire. Happy (belated) cinco (5) de Mayo. They just announced on the radio that there will be a margarita mix-off at the Red Onion in Beverly Hills. A strawberry margarita would taste great right now! But, I guess I’ll settle for a grapefruit juice.
I’m off to Century City for the day. But, I’m thinking of you, wanting you, and missing you.
Have a super week, safe trip to Ottawa, et al. Know that I’m loving you.
Always,
Joanna
ps. This Sunday (11th) is Mother’s Day - just a reminder.
pps. The week after that is “Be Kind of Meek’s Week!”
