Dear Joan,
How are you? How is your new job? Ted & Eunice are coming down to visit at the end of May. (Exciting, huh?) Do you remember that tan dress you made w/ cuff -3/4 length sleeves? Well I bought one similar to that. It is really cute on me. I also bought a cute jumper. I really like the spring & summer fashion. It is more of a casual look (but the prices aren't casual.) My car is a pain in the (ass) neck. My clutch is going bad again. I guess I "ride it" and don't realize it. All I want to do is sell it & get a V.W. just to save money for a decent car. Joan, everything costs so much money as if you hadn't noticed. I haven't worked for 3 mos. now, but I need money. There was an ad in the paper for Higbee's Daisy Sale - bummer but a sure thing. I am finding that you can't do any kind of worthwhile job unless you are experienced or training. There are jobs to be found, but just not the ones you want - they are the ones you have to settle for.
Ted & Eunice are coming down to visit around the end of May. Are you ever coming back to visit? How is your car? (Your Mustang or ?). How is the news concerning Sonny? How is your love-life now? I don't have too much to speak of - but you see, that's the way I want it now. I just thought I would drop you a line to see if you are still alive.
Oh, Mother wants to know if you received this months. (March) Soc. Sec. check. The Cleve. office wants to know, so please RSVP as soon as you get this.
My spring vacation is from about March 20-30. Do you believe 10 whole days? It was better than this in high school. I want to go somewhere but I don't know where to go. Maybe Canada.
It is 1:00 now and I need my beauty sleep (joke). I hope things have picked up for you & Diane. I never met her in person while I was there, but she seems like a "together chick."
