Dear Joan,

How are you? Things are pretty good with me. Sorry I was so rude on the phone when you called but I am a crank when I get woken up. You said you were a little depressed. Why is that? What are you doing with all your time? What would you like to do with it? I am dating a new face now. His name is Jim, he is 27, and very nice. It is amazing how a new relationship can motivate me and make me feel good about myself. It's the old, "Its hard to find a nice personality with a pretty face." I used to wonder if it was worth being nice instead of cold & stuck up.

Anyway, how is David? Fine I hope. I only have 1 more month of school. It's funny. It seems that those who work want to go to school and those who go to school want to work. It's hard not saving any money. I will give you a call soon. Keep in mind what you want for your birthday, even it is a month 1/2 way. I have to plan ahead.

So drop a line. Keep on growing mentally. There is so-o much to learn. Just remember there are people who love you and care about you. How do I know? Because I am one of them.

Spring is in the air & I'm getting ready to start my tennis lessons at the Racquet Club. Pretty good, huh?
