I took the weekend off and decided to get away. There is so much happening here. We (Dennis & I) have gone to Stop 33 - at Sutton Place, Aquarius 51, and Le Continental. Tonight Chuck Mangione & Esther Sutterfield are at Ontario Place. Can't wait. See you soon (Dec).

Love,
Judy

Joan - This postcard was supposed to have gotten mailed, but the accident interrupted a lot of things.

Joni,

Hello, there. How is everything? You know, I begin to worry a little when you don't write. I really wish you could take a few minutes and write, just a few lines.

Anyway, is there anything new and/or exciting in your life? Please give David my regards. I finally got my car. It is nice. I told you that my other one got into an accident, didn't I? Well, I didn't get the Cutless S, but the Malibu Classic '76. It's mahogany inside and out, plush carpet, bench seat, arm rest, power locks & windows, air, rear defrost, tilt wheel steering, cruise control, AM, FM, FM stereo, cassette radio. Larry Berk says "hello," from Bass Chev. He says he remembers you. Also, Marvin sends his "love."

Yesterday Mother put $1,500.00 down on a Big Turtle Condo in Willoughby. We haven't sold this house yet. Joan, if I had it my way, I think it would be better to keep this house, but it doesn't matter. You know she does what she wants.

Ted is coming down in Oct. for some conference  at Monticello, with the family. He's mad I got my car. I almost believe he is jealous. The same way he was about you when you got your Laguna. Do you remember anything about the time when Dad put the down payment on your car? Ma told me that he forged her signature on an insurance policy and cashed it in to get the money. It really upsets me the way Mother won't leave him alone and let him R.I.P., you know?

The restaurant I told you about before still hasn't opened. It's really getting ridiculous, so I am applying to work with mentally disturbed adults in Mentor.

School starts in 2 more weeks. I would like to come out this winter unless you plan to come here. It is my turn to come see you , though. Either way, I hope we do see each other , soon.

We have a rainy, muggy season now. Fall is on the rising. There's nothing I like better than to sit down on a gray afternoon and write to someone I think of very often.

Keep me in mind,
With love,
Judy

(Write: I hate to sound like I'm begging or am asking a great deal from you. It's only because: I CARE, JOAN.)
