Dear Joni,

I had hoped to get this mailed before Christmas, not after, but I had 2 tests last week & was more behind than usual. Teachers have no mercy!

I’m not taking classes next semester so as soon as I pull things a little together in the house, I’ll let you know and if you would to show La Jolla to Judy, you’re welcome to stay with us. I intended to extend the invitation earlier but as you may recall, Jan had her knee operation this summer, & I was with a month, school started Sept. 1, …. We want to keep in touch.
