Dear Joan,

It is such a bummer being back home again. I got my car back today ($166.00). I stopped in Man Talk the other day. Chuck was there and asked about you. He checked the 2nd address and said he was going out to Calif. soon. So you might get a visit from. I saw Doug, too. I think he wanted to talk but was helping a man with a suit and couldn't when I was there. Ronnie gave me this picture to give to you (You should start a scrapbook). How are you and Sonny getting along? I know things are working out, but that doesn't mean that you are happy.

Did you finish the jacket yet? I won't have too much time to wear it because the temp drops to about 30 degrees. And rain almost everyday.

In case you want to send a belated birthday card to Eunice, it was Sept. 10th. And Ted's is Oct. 1st. I didn't' know if you knew.
