Dear Sonny,

Just a brief note to say I made parole effective March 20th.

I wrote Mary Ann P. last month, but never received an answer. Why? Who is this girl, and why did she offer to have me for awhile?

It seems that you and your friends are most uncommunicative. Guess memories of jail fade fast, huh! Anyhow, I'll probably move up to San Francisco, within a short time, whatever support we once had has apparently vanished, and there is little that intrigues me about L.A.

But please let me know a few details concerning MaryAnn. Okay?
